Confused about the billing process? Our administrative staff is happy to help you navigate your Extended Health Care coverage! We offer our aid as a no fee service, so please inquire with the team if you are unsure about your coverage, how to bill, who to bill, what to send in, etc. We are here to help!

EHI (Extended Health Insurance)
All or part of your treatment fees may be reimbursed by your Extended Health Care plan, depending upon the details of your plan. If you do not have coverage through your Extended Health Care plan you may still be covered by a spouse’s plan or a parent’s plan. We are happy to call on your behalf to determine what you are eligible for under your plan (whether it’s Physiotherapy you’re looking for, Massage Therapy, Chiropractic or Naturopathy).
It’s important to note that while our staff will do their very best to help you, there are some Insurance companies that will not release any information to anyone but the plan member. In this event, we will be happy to guide you through the process with a list of proper questions to ask.
Your insurance plan may require a Doctor’s referral to process your expense claim. Please take a moment to check with your Insurance company or ask our team to call on your behalf before starting treatment to avoid any delays in payment.
It is also important to note that deductibles are the responsibility of the client, along with any percentage of the treatment that is not reimbursed.
MVA (Motor Vehicle Accidents)
We are happy to assist and treat clients who have had a Motor Vehicle accident. Our administrative staff is experienced and adept at handling the paperwork, while our clinical team is skilled at developing the appropriate treatment plans, communicating with adjudicators, completing Progress Reports, and of course treating the injuries!
Several years ago the Financial Services Commission of Ontario passed the “Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule”. It states that any person involved in a Motor Vehicle Accident must fully exhaust their personal Extended Health Insurance prior to billing the Motor Vehicle Insurance company. We are aware of the most up-to-date guidelines and fully operate in accordance with them and so will assist our clients with this process as well.

VETERANS AFFAIRS
Most Veterans are eligible for up to $800.00/year in Physiotherapy coverage. Our Physiotherapist is registered with Blue Cross Veterans Affairs and recognized as an eligible provider. As always, we are happy to assist our clients with all the paperwork and billing.
PRIVATE PAY
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Interac, cheques, and cash as payment.

At Physio FX our fees are based on the duration of each session, after your initial assessment your provider will discuss the most appropriate session duration with you and communicate it to the administration team to process your billing.
